Police trying to track down a group of bikers in Southampton

Officers say two off rode motorbikes and a quad bike caused damage in Green Park in Millbrook

We have released images of motorcycles causing a nuisance in Green Park, Southampton on Tuesday 1 August.

Two off road motorbikes and one quad bike were being ridden in an anti social manner and causing damage to the park between 6pm and 8.07pm.

The bikes left the area using local roads but are off road vehicles and are likely to have no insurance.

They are described as:

• Red and white scrambler - rider wearing a black helmet and distinctive yellow and black motorcross type clothing with red writing.

• Black motorbike - rider wearing dark clothing and white trainers.

• White quad bike - rider wearing white or grey tracksuit.

PC Simon Peacock said:

“These bikes cause damage to parks and are a danger to members of the public, as well as the riders themselves.

“The red and white bike looks clean and is likely stored in a house or out building. Someone will have seen this bike or know who uses it.

“If you have any information about this incident, please call 101 quoting Operation Torque, email operation.torque@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
