Avon and Somerset Police are investigating a suspicious death in Easton.
They were called to a flat in Lansdowne Court at around 5:15pm last night, where the body of a man was found.
A local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident - they've said that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force told us:
'A man has died at a flat at Lansdowne Court in Easton.
Police attended the property at around 5.15pm (Thursday 10 January) and found a man at the address who had sadly died.
The death is being treated as homicide, and an investigation is being led by the Major Crime Investigation Team.
A local man was arrested in connection with the incident in nearby Newton Street soon afterwards.
