Police searching for a missing person in Sandhurst have confirmed a body has been found.
The body of a man was discovered on Friday afternoon (22 February) in Sandhurst Memorial Park, off Yorktown Road, by a member of the public.
Officers said formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of 43-year-old Keith Sanderson from Sandhurst, who has been missing since 17 February, have been informed.
Superintendent Shaun Virtue, said:
“Tragically a body of a man, who we believe to be missing Keith Sanderson, has been located.
"His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers at this incredibly difficult time.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.”
