A man's been charged with causing death by careless driving after a crash in Reading.
A motorcyclist died when a car collided with his bike on the A329 Kings Road on the 17th of May 2018.
He was named as 20 year old Edward Gilder from Reading.
Catalin Cazacu, who's 33 and from Waldeck Street, is due at Reading Magistrates on 21 February.
A Police spokesperson issued this statement:
"Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged with causing death by careless driving in Reading.
"Catalin Cazacu, aged 33, of Waldeck Street, Reading, was charged with one count of causing death by careless driving on Wednesday (6/2).
"He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 21 February.
"The charge is in relation to a fatal road traffic collision involving a Nissan Almera and a motorcyclist on the A329 Kings Road, at the junction with Kingsgate Street on 17 May last year.
"Sadly, the motorcyclist died of his injuries. He was formally identified as Edward Gilder, aged 20, from Reading."
