Motorcyclist suffers life-changing injuries in Bracknell crash

A motorcyclist has been left with life-changing injuries after a collision in Bracknell.

Police had to close Bagshot Road for hours following the incident involving a HGV and a motorbike just after 7.30pm last night (Wednesday 20th February).

The 37 year-old man was airlifted to Southampton Hospital.

The road was closed for several hours, but it later re-opened.

Investigating officer PC Ben Eastment of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Taplow, said:

“This was a very serious collision which has left a man with serious injuries.

“I am appealing for anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190054966.

“Members of the public stopped at the scene and helped the motorcyclist by giving crucial first aid on the scene, I am appealing for these people to contact police, as they may be able to assist in our investigation."
